Golf Course Description
La Serena golf club Hole 10: Par 4 - 292 metres
You will have to walk almost to the beginning of the ninth hole to play this adjacent par 4. This is the first of the back nine at La Serena where a straight tee shot is required to avoid the upcoming hazards. With water on the left, the green narrows to provide difficulty along the way. On the right hand side, you will discover more desert areas. Water hazards are apart of the players second shot at the front and a lake very close to the left hand side. Along with these hazards, palm trees are featured along the hole.

La Serena golf club Hole 11: Par 5 - 500 metres
Hole 11 is the longest par 5 at 500 metres found at the furthest part of the course. You are able to freely tee off and drive from the fairway without encountering any hazards along the way until you reach the green. With desert terrain featured to the front and left of the green, it is a demanding hole to reach the green in 2.

La Serena golf club Hole 12: Par 4 - 385 metres
Golfers will find overlooking this hole a dog leg to the left. At par 4 you will encounter desert terrain but no water is present. Being marked as stroke index 1, it is regarded as the hardest hole of the course at La Serena. The best line through to the green is to take a good drive from tee off and proceed over the fairway via the left hand side. The shorter shots may encounter palm trees causing a hazard to the green.

La Serena golf club Hole 13: Par 4 - 275 metres
This hole is a very short par 4 at only 275 metres making par or even a birdie achievable. From the tee off area, a good drive will take you onto the fairway to produce an ideal second shot over the water to the green. With few hazards golfers should complete this hole at ease.

La Serena golf club Hole 14: Par 4 - 322 metres
Golfers are required to stay to the left hand side along this par 4 at 332metres as water is featured throughout the right hand side of the hole. Once you tee off onto the fairway, once again you will have to be careful on your second shot as you will be required to cross over water on the right hand side to continue as the left is guarded heavily by bunkers.

La Serena golf club Hole 15: Par 3 - 172 metres
Spread across 172 metres, this is the longest par 3 of the course, with water featured to your right hand and out of bounds areas to your left side, you will be required to take a straight shot from tee off. Golfers who are more confident are able to reach the green in one shot, enabling players to achieve par if luck is on their side due to the vastly sized green featured.

La Serena golf club Hole 16: Par 4 - 315 metres
The right hand side of this par 4 hole is protected by water all along, down to the green. Fortunately for the golfer, the fairway is generously wide so a short carry over the lake at the start of the tee is simple enough and creates an ideal second shot from the right side of the fairway. The left hand side of the hole features the largest series of bunkers out of the whole course, so it definitely recommended to stay to the right hand side.

La Serena golf club Hole 17: Par 3 - 150 metres
At a short 150 metres, golfers will complete this par 3 effortlessly as half of the hole is covered with water. Once you reach the green, be careful not to strike too hard upon approach as you may soon discover the hidden bunker to the rear. The green is of a good size meaning all golfers of any experience should have no problem reaching.

La Serena golf club Hole 18: Par 5 - 480 metres
This is the final hole of La Serena golf course at par 5 over 480 metres, it gives you the chance for a final birdie. The overview from tee off encourages a long confident drive over the fairway but is not advised to try reaching the green from 2 strokes as you will encounter the stream at the front. The fairway also narrows the closer you get to the green due to water accompanying to the left hand side. Players who reach the green on 3 will have an excellent chance of a birdie.
